Through our Project Laadli in Kolasar village in Bikaner, Rajasthan, a new tailoring class has been launched, empowering girls and women to learn practical and creative skills.
The tailoring program introduces students to the essentials of sewing, guiding them from the basics of stitching to the creation of beautiful, practical products like bags, traditional garments, and various types of clothing.
Many of these women, who were once limited by social or economic barriers, now feel a renewed sense of purpose and pride. The tailoring classes have become more than just skill-building sessions for more than 35 girls and women’s.
This project is in collaboration with our partner Jeevandhara and team.
