Under Project Shiksha, we are thrilled to announce the inauguration of a new community learning center in the village of Rei, District Chamoli, Uttarakhand.
The Learning Center at Rei is designed to be a vibrant educational hub where children can engage in various learning activities in a fun and interactive environment. The center provides a platform for children to interact and develop skills with exposure to books, toys, and Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs).
Additionally, we have installed a Toy Library under Project Khilona, equipped with a collection of 40 educational toys. These toys are selected to support different aspects of learning, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and fine motor skills, making learning enjoyable and interactive for students of various age groups.
Children from the village and surrounding areas now have access to high-quality educational toys, enhancing their learning experiences and academic performance.
The center will be managed by Harry Bisht and her two daughters, Riddhi and Siddhi Bisht, who will lead the community learning center with dedication and passion.
We are also excited about our collaboration with Himalayan Volunteering Tourism and Nilay Sir from Good for Nothing, whose volunteering and on-ground support will contribute significantly to the success of this learning center.
This collaboration aims to extend our reach and impact, allowing us to uplift more deserving communities.
