Under our Project Laadli on May 28th, in honor of Menstrual Hygiene Day, under the theme Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld we organized an impactful session on menstruation and hygiene, at Mankhaurd Mumbai.
The aim was to create a safe and open environment where girls could learn and ask questions freely.
Various menstrual hygiene products, including sanitary pads, cloth pads, menstrual cups, and tampons, were showcased.
Simple and practical dietary tips were shared to help the girls manage their health better during their menstrual cycles a balanced diet rich in iron and vitamin C for maintaining menstrual health
The session was conducted by our trainer Priya .The positive feedback from more than 40 girls who participants highlighted the importance of such educational initiatives.
Many girls expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. We also distributed 40 Sanitary Pad and 40 comic of Mini Menstrupedia.
